Back in December 2020, I followed Grant Abbitt's chess piece exercise. He only did some of the pieces to teach how to extrude and create shapes. Since I got the hang of it, I thought it would be nice to bring it up a notch. I experimented and manage to create the other pieces like the knight and bishop. I also created the chess board. During that time, I wasn't familiar on how to render my 3D models so that I could have a good quality image. I took a screenshot instead. After a few more exercises later, I learned how to render. It was first time doing it and that is why it looked off especially in terms of lighting.
